   hello, I am Vincenzo Pizzo and I would like to join in on this film festival. I would like to know if there is an age limit. I am 13 now but will be 14 by the next film festival. It has always been my dream to become a director ever since I was 4 years old. I take film classes for about 1 hour and 40 minutes a day. My teacher made us do a research paper on the world famous director, Steven Spielberg, and I came across something interesting. He one his first Film Festival when he was only About my age. As soon as I read that I have wanted to do a Film Festival. So may you answer my question of ” is there an age limit for this film festival”. my E-mail is “higuyvinny@aol.com’ .

     Hello Vincenzo, we highly encourage you to submit your film. Thank you for the interest. The festival will take place at University of the Arts in downtown Philadelphia as well as other surrounding locations during Philly Tech Week. We have no age limit and in fact do not have a specific student category. This means your film will be screened with all of the other films from around the globe. We think this levels the field and puts everybody on equal. Perhaps it is a bit more tough to make it in to the festival, but the rewards are that much more satisfying for the filmmaker.
