The Filmmaker’s Lounge PIFF coin launches!

Well we said it would happen and here we are! Travel over to the ALGORAND Blockchain and let’s get busy with the Filmmakers Lounge PIFF coin. PIFF has long been the innovator in the city of Philadelphia for film festivals, so they tell us. Over the years we have used unique venues, been the first to use live Streaming (our own), Social Media live tools (Periscope), the first to offer streaming to our filmmakers (Darkroom.film) connected Technology and Filmmaking and how it alters the story (good and bad) and more. Ultimately our festival has straddled the world of digital filmmaking and film as an art that is only now being discovered.

Hello, it was a long and hot summer. A Mild winter and a lovely start to the spring! We hope everyone is able to continue to stay in touch and take part in what is happening across the globe and how it relates to filmmaking. Art and now film (modern story telling) have always been at the vanguard of such cultural moments and now is not different. Thank you everybody for getting in touch. We are still finalizing schedules, venues, and making some adjustments. Any input is always welcome. Thank you for coming to the festival website. We are currently in beta mode and are tinkering (as quickly as possible) with a few things. We hope to have most ironed out by May 16th.
